Just what does one dress the wild child as on Halloween, you ask? Why, a busy bee, of course!
It was a bit chilly as we set out, so the busy bee had to don some mittens and a hat. She bid farewell to our Elmo pumpkin as we left

Examining her bucket full of treats
The real fun for all of us began when we got home. We let Jillian stay up well past her bedtime to hand out candy to trick or treaters. She got very excited when someone came to the door and shouted, "Somebody's here!!" She loved putting the candy in their sacks, but then insisted we put another in hers as well each time someone came. As the traffic died down, we had a bit of fun recording some of her excitement. A word of warning: these videos are a bit lengthy, so perhaps not of interest to the casual reader!
I should also comment that Jillian ate her first real candy that night, and she was in a bit of a sugar induced delirium. It was this altered state that required me to go into her room and settle her down literally 15 times that night. I am thankful Halloween is only once a year!

Cutest little bee around! I bet her sting is pretty sweet.
