Mothering

Jillian spends a lot of her time lately working on her mothering skills. She now has 2 babies and she adores them. She walks around the house shouting "baby!" as she looks for her dolls. She can point to her babies' eyes, nose, and head. One of her babies has a hat. If the hat isn't on the baby's head, she promptly brings you the baby and the hat as she requests "hatah" (this is baby speak for "please put the hat back on my baby doll now!") Jillian also is intrigued by boxes. She loves to carry them, place things inside (and remove them), and expends a lot of energy as she tirelessly climbs in and out of them. The other day as we were playing with her babies, I asked her to put her baby 'night-night'. She took the baby and put her to bed in the box. As you will see, her technique could use a bit of refinement. I just hope this isn't her interpretation of my mothering abilities!

John said, "SHE HAS HAIR!"

What a big girl! She has changed so much since a few weeks ago! Glad she is getting use out of her baby!
