Remember

Because I am at risk of forgetting pretty much anything these days, I have to record my favorite Jilly-ism of late. Jillian wants to do everything by herself, and I am happy about that most of the time. I am doing my best to foster independence as much as possible since she will need to be more independent when the baby arrives, and it is getting more difficult for me to lift her as I grow. If I ever forget to let her do it (get into her car seat, climb into her booster seat, pull her pants up, etc) by herself, she simply reminds me, "I do it all my by self". All my by self. Definitely just one of many instances where improper grammar is absolutely endearing.
