Monday we went to meet the pediatrician and for our first visit. Jillian was back up to 7 lbs 10 oz (up 3 oz in 3 days from the 7 lbs 7 oz she left the hospital at!). Mommy was so happy to see Daddy arrive home from work early to be able to go to the appt. Mommy and Daddy really liked the pediatrician. She was matter of fact, thorough, and patient. We had originally selected another pediatrician and had to see this one b/c of a schedule conflict (the hospital wanted Jillian seen Monday and the pediatrician couldn't see her until Tuesday). After we were both able to meet this one together and liked her so well, we decided to make a switch then and there.
Then we went on our first outing...to Target. Jillian rode in her stroller for a bit, but managed to convince her father that he should just carry her through the store. The dr. called us last night to inform us that her MN newborn screen (the bloodtest they do to check for a whole host of genetic disorders) was normal. That was great news! We'll go back to the dr. tomorrow for a weight check. Mommy is convinced she'll be back at my birth weight at least....she is a GREAT eater! Mommy does feel like a bit of a cow sometimes, but it's job security, right? :)

She is so adorable and is smiling in one of the pictures! She is changing so and now looks more like a blend of both of you to me. Still I see "baby Matt" so much. Grammy you look so happy holding her and makes me so anxious for December! Love to all!
Yeah she is wearing the froggie outfit that Uncle D picked out for her!!! She is soooo adorable, I just love her!!!
