-Mommy and Daddy's first 'date' post-Jillian. Went to eat sushi Wednesday night while Grammy kept Jillian. She was well-behaved :)
-First bottle of breastmilk. Mommy has been trying to start pumping some so Daddy can help with the feedings, but this is hard b/c Jillian wants to eat all the time...hard to fit in the pumping! But--Daddy was able to give her the first bottle a couple days ago and she sucked it down in no time flat...and then wanted to eat some more.
-First afternoon alone--Grammy left after lunch today to go back home. This left Mommy and Jilly-Bean all alone for the longest stretch ever so far. Mommy is still having quite a bit of pain from the tailbone and her hormones still have her pretty emotional most of the time. Anyway, the afternoon is going well, but we are ready for Daddy to be home for the weekend. Mommy is very sad that Grammy left--she is so wonderful and was amazing help. It was great to have some special time with her and we can't wait for her to come back in about 10 days (but who's counting? :) )
