Big Week

Jilly Bean has a big week, as she has lots of family coming to meet her for the first time. It began yesterday with the return of Grammy (hooray!!), who brought Mimi along. Recall that Mimi is my grammy, one of Jillian's great grandmothers. Mimi and Jillian decided they loved each other right away.

With their arrival, we took our first official four generation photo. Please ignore how hideous mommy looks....I obviously have no shame since I am posting this on the internet. I'm only doing it for the sake of the important moment it was.

Mimi and Grammy are loving on Jillian all they can these next two days before the wave continues...tomorrow night Aunt Meggie and Uncle D will arrive, followed by Aunt Mal and Grandad on Wednesday. Saturday will bring Grandpa and Aunt Angela. And next week--Grandma will fly in for a week. Mommy is a bit worried that once all these family members leave in a couple weeks that she will be left all alone with a rotten, spoiled child who hates to be put down even worse than she does now! I'm sure we'll have lots of photos to post over the next two weeks. Mommy is going to really appreciate the help and take advantage of it....naps, dates with Daddy, and hopefully a hair appt!
Lastly, here's a video taken yesterday morning--a happy, active, and vigorous baby for sure! Someone found her voice...
