1. Aunt Mal and our cousin Lindsay decided to spend their Spring Break in the Tundra with us last week and we loved having them. They were excellent help with the wild child and she clearly enjoyed "Mao" and "Leenee". Us grown-up ladies even found time to go out on the town for a bit one night with my neighbor, Julianne. We snapped a pic as we waited for Jules to pick us up.

2. On St Patrick's Day, we attended a delightful playdate with a lot of Jilly's friends. I am pretty sure that there were approximately 10 toddlers present. You can imagine the noise, right? A big thanks to my friend, Nikki, for being brave enough to host that one! Mal and Lindsay came, too. Lindsay was the unofficial story reader--I think she's especially skilled in this department!

Jayson, Jillian, Malea, and Brooke enjoyed the community bowl of crackers...Goldfish are always a hit!

I am always seeking to take a good mother-daughter photo. We tried several times that day. This is the best we got....

We'll keep trying.
Jillian enjoyed trying to ride Jayson's horse while clutching her cup. That sort of thing takes intense concentration, as you might imagine.

3. We watched in horror as our Kansas Jayhawks played the worst game in college basketball history, and lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Jillian could sense our frustration during the game, and I know we scared her several times with our frantic outbursts at the refs, coach, players, etc. Sorry, sweetie, one day you'll understand and be yelling (and hopefully cheering) right along with us!
4. Mother Nature smiled upon us and graced us with some tolerable weather over the last week. We officially have no snow on the ground (fingers crossed it stays this way!) and we have seen the sun quite a bit. It is glorious. As a result, Jillian has enjoyed some swinging at the park. Hooray!
