I think it's safe to say that Jillian actually has some hair! And what a head of hair it is...fine, wild curls that seem remarkably similar to her dad's at this age. She seems to have a sudden awareness of her hair, and is interested in having me "do my pretty hair" every day. This requires spraying it with detangler, combing through it, and scrunching it with my fingers (a whopping 20 second process). The result is precious, and has been gaining her quite a bit of attention at the various places we go. Everyone is quite surprised to see my bald beauty sporting some curls! Last week, as we were running into the RAC on a windy day, she shouted "Oh no! My hair!" as she frantically tried to protect it. This last week, she has been referring to her hair as "Punzel hair", thanks to learning about Rapunzel. I often hear her respond with "It's my pretty Punzel hair" whenever someone comments or compliments her do. Today after nap, she requested a bow in her hair. I soon discovered that I could easily get 2 in her hair, and so we fashioned some mini-pigtails that left me giddy with glee. What fun! Despite the bed head from nap, you can still see some of her curls and have to agree that this is a pretty precious sight.

(Just ignore the gash on her nose. There were 4 of us adults in the house and yet none of us seemed to manage to see her fall down the stairs last week. Good grief!)
Posing with her "inspiration", Rapunzel (who also happens to require a pair of big girl panties, in case you were wondering...)

A close up of Jillian's first official respectable hairdo. Oh my fun is just beginning!
