Grandma may have had a broken elbow, but that didn't stop her from getting down on Jillian's level for lots of fun

Pop Pop managed to squeeze in some occasional snuggle time with our busy bee

At long last, Jillian met Uncle Tim! Uncle Tim was lots of fun. Jillian really loves Uncle Tim. So much so that she even let him play with her new beloved friend, Elmo (an entire post devoted to her love of Elmo is coming soon...)

Jillian also met and bonded with her cousin Emmy. Emmy was so sweet to share her high chair and toys with Jillian all during the trip. The two girls really seemed to enjoy each other and liked to "talk". Jillian also liked to try and poke Emmy's eyes....poor Emmy!
One Saturday we had the pleasure of going to visit Grandma's friends, Jane and Ken, at their home on the Severn River. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon in their beautiful pools. Emmy and Jillian especially liked the baby pool and were a couple of real bathing beauties!

Daddy supervised some splashing on the steps

Jillian splashed and splashed for what seemed like an eternity...

She clearly loved this water play experience!

We enjoyed several shopping excursions and lunches with Grandma--usually just us girls. On our last day, we did take Daddy and Pop Pop along when we went to some toy stores. Daddy had fun introducing Jillian to puppets and rather large stuffed animals. Jillian was quite intrigued.

And what trip to Maryland would be complete without a crab feast? We had a great dinner of crabs and shrimp on the back deck on a beautiful evening. We offered Jillian a crab...

But she was fascinated by the mysterious green bottle
