First Name Basis

Jillian has apparently figured out that her dad doesn't only answer to "dada". As is the usual scene, she was overjoyed to see her father walk through the door tonight. She wasn't, however, thrilled that he soon after went upstairs to change his clothes, leaving her stuck in the kitchen with her old bore of a mom. Jillian ran to the gate by the stairs saying "dada, dada!", but then quickly changed her chant to "Matt! Matt! Matt! Matt!" For some reason that is just absolutely hilarious to me. Definitely more humorous than rubbing mashed potatoes all over her hands like it was lotion (and on every other reachable surface), which is what she proceeded to do at dinner a few minutes later.
