8 Week Ultrasound Description
If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see the one picture we got from the 8 week ultrasound. It's a bit fuzzier than the 6 week one, but you can definitely see the baby. Ignore the large black blob that takes up the entire left half of the picture--that's just my incredibly full bladder :) Look on the right side--the tear-drop shaped black thing is my uterus (squished by my bladder--sorry baby!!). The white figure inside that is the baby--the head is on the left, the body portion on the right. The picture isn't clear enough on the blog, but you can see a little arm bud on the hard copy. Our little neighbor girls were excited to see pictures of the baby, but think they were expecting something more. Kate(5) was quite honest when she said in a disappointed voice: "It doesn't look at all like a baby". Kyra (2) had a more positive spin: "It looks a little bit baby". We think it looks beautiful already :)
